Her House, Her Rules..

While Randall and his wife happily prepared for moving day, Henrietta quietly began reclaiming control of her life.

Every morning, she left the house early without telling anyone where she was going.

First came the bank.

Then the lawyer.

Then the real estate office.

One by one, she handled every detail carefully, calmly, and legally.

For the first time in years, Henrietta was not making decisions based on guilt or pressure.

She was making them based on peace.

Meanwhile, Randall behaved as if everything was already settled. He talked about where the kids would sleep. His wife discussed redecorating parts of the house. They spoke openly about changing furniture, rearranging rooms, and “making the place work better.”

Henrietta listened quietly.

But every word only strengthened her resolve.

Late one evening, she stood alone in the hallway of the house she had sacrificed her entire life to keep.

And in that moment, she made her final decision.

By Friday night, everything was ready.

Randall still believed Saturday would be the beginning of his family’s new life.
