At 79, the most powerful man in the world just gave the internet its biggest distraction from an actual war.
Donald Trump landed in Phoenix on Friday, stepped off Air Force One, and took questions from reporters in a stance so wide it stopped the scroll — feet planted far apart, arms pinned to his sides, like a man bracing for an earthquake that never came.
He was there to talk Iran. A ceasefire was holding. Negotiations were moving to Islamabad. A deal, he said, could come “in the next day or two.”
Nobody talked about any of that.
