Here We Go Again: Democrat Says They’ll Impeach Trump If Party Wins House

The mask is already slipping — and it’s barely been a year.

Yesterday’s reports confirmed what everyone paying attention already knew: Democrats are once again planning impeachment before the midterms even happen. Colorado Rep. Brittany Pettersen openly admitted that her party is laying the groundwork right now to impeach President Trump the moment they claw back control of the House.

And she’s not alone. Rep. Jason Crow echoed the same threat, pledging that Democrats will do “everything they can” to remove Trump from office if voters make the mistake of giving them the gavel again.

“This president is a danger to this country and this democracy, so what I’m doing is I’m looking at all options,” Crow said. “All of our options must be on the table, from impeachment to the 25th Amendment to winning elections, which is actually my primary goal right now as the recruitment chair for House Democrats, is to win elections and to take power away from Donald Trump.”

Here’s the part Democrats really can’t stand.

President Trump didn’t just win the Electoral College — he won the popular vote, too.

When Democrats lose the Electoral College but win the popular vote, they howl for years about how the system is “rigged,” “unfair,” and “anti-democratic.” They lecture the country about legitimacy, reform, and the will of the people.

But when Trump wins both? Suddenly the popular vote doesn’t matter. The Electoral College is illegitimate. The voters were “misled.” The election must be questioned. Investigations must begin. Impeachment must follow. Heads they win. Tails the system is broken.

This isn’t about democracy. It never was. It’s about power. Democrats are perfectly happy with the rules — until they lose under them. Then the rules become immoral, outdated, or corrupt.

Just give it time.

The pattern never fails. Today, Trump is “literally Hitler.” Tomorrow, whoever follows him will be “even worse.” Whether it’s Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, or Ron DeSantis, the next Republican nominee will instantly become the new existential threat, the new fascist, the new end of democracy.

And suddenly — magically — Democrats will begin reminiscing.

Remember when Trump was “at least predictable”? When he was “a moderate compared to this guy”? When things were “more stable under Trump”? You can set your watch by it.

Democrats are a clown show, for sure, but their party is getting even more unhinged by the day and that’s not good for our republic.
