Rumer Willis took to Instagram with poolside snaps featuring her sister Scout LaRue as she turned 33. The sisters showed off their gorgeous bikini bodies as they hung out with Rumer’s daughter Louetta, their mom Demi Moore, and a few friends.
Rumer wished her Scout a happy birthday in her caption that read, “River Monsters for @scoutlaruewillis birthday. No place I would rather be than by your side. My leg bruise is courtesy of my first time trick riding on a horse woohoo.”
Rumer’s post got thousands of likes from her followers and several comments praising the sisterly bond she shares with Scout. “You girls are so beautiful and sweet, I’m glad you guys had a great time,” someone gushed. “Your family is so beautiful! Yall have so much fun!” another quipped.
A few critics shared their thoughts, too, chiding Rumer for exposing her bum in the second slide. “Why would you show your back in front of the whole world?” a troll asked. “I’ll never understand why people post pics of their ass,” another added but was met with rebuttals from Rumer’s defensive fans.
Sisterly bond
The Willis sisters have grown closer in recent years, especially after their father, Bruce Willis’ frontotemporal dementia diagnosis. Rumer, Scout and their younger sister Tallulah have been vocal about their dad’s condition, lending their voice to creating awareness and letting fans in on Bruce’s health progress.
The trio, their mother, and Bruce’s current wife, Emma Hemming, have showered the film icon with love and support while making memories before his likely passing. The birth of Rumer’s daughter also strengthened the family’s bond, making Bruce a proud first-time grandad. Sadly, Bruce’s reality has forced him to give up his acting career after his last role as Ian Swan in Paradise City.
