Okay, I guess it’s gonna be up to me to say it, but Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania is no ally of the GOP. He’s never going to be a true ally of the GOP, and we can forget about him ever becoming a Republican. He’s just another Democrat, no matter how rational he sounds and despite his few votes to keep the government open:
Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) is once again getting shredded on social media by conservatives who feel his attempts to come off as a moderate in the media don’t line up with his actions as he continues to vote along with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), with many referring to him as being “two-faced” in his politics.
A video clip that has resurfaced on X features Fetterman sitting down for an interview on Fox News where he rips into the Democratic Party for associating with the deeply hateful, anti-Semitic Hasan Piker and for not throwing their support behind Israel. “I mean, it’s crazy. It’s crazy,” the senator said in reference to his party’s support of Piker.
“I mean, my God, you have many of in my party, they’re proud to do events like that with Hasan Piker. Now, this is the individual that just recently said that America deserved Nine-Eleven and said that Hamas is 1,000% better than Israel. He doesn’t care about the rapes and calls Jews inbred and says these outlandish things,” Fetterman continued.
He then called out mainstream media outlets for praising Piker, saying, “And then, like the New York Times gives these glowing kinds of profiles, and they don’t mention any of that. I mean, he’s become such a raging anti-Semite, you know, even the guy that has a Nazi tattoo bailed on doing an event with him. I mean, Democrats have to decide. Whose side are you on? Are you proud to stand with that kind of an individual or stand with Israel?”
He says the right things but he always ends up voting the opposite way. Don’t waste too much time giving him credit. Action is always more important than cheap words.
Absolutely right. Fetterman knows what he has to say in order to sound like a moderate and continue getting those Fox News bookings. But the reality is, he’s a Democrat, always has been, and always will be. His overall voting record proves it.
Case in point: While 80-85 percent of the country, including about three-quarters of Democrats, are in favor of a requirement to prove you’re a citizen and produce a government-issued ID to vote, Fetterman is against it, calling it “needlessly complicated” while defending the Democrats’ chosen fraud vehicle, mail-in balloting.
You shouldn’t.
Y’all can do what you want, of course, but for me, I’m over this Fetterman fetish.
