Last Friday, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, the wife of Gavin Newsom, made it abundantly clear that she — not Gavin — has her sights set on the 2028 presidential race. She took over her husband’s press conference to criticize the media for not addressing what she described as President Trump’s “war on women.” As she spoke, Gavin’s face turned as pink as Jennifer’s blouse, and if you watch the video without sound, his body language conveys a lot.
There’s certainly no “war on women” being waged, at least by President Donald Trump. Instead, it’s the Left that seems to be fighting against women, all in the name of “trans inclusivity” and accommodating Islam. Throughout Europe, incidents of harassment, assault, and even rape involving Muslim migrants are alarmingly frequent.
The situation has reached a point where UK PM Keir Starmer has labeled violence against women and girls a “national emergency,” yet he has avoided addressing the root causes. Just this past weekend, an Islamist in NYC faced backlash for claiming her city was “coming to Islam” and referring to “unclean” dogs:
This isn’t the first time that the Left has attempted to sacrifice our cherished four-legged companions. In the U.K., authorities are likely to impose a ban on dogs in the countryside as part of their efforts to promote “diversity,” catering to the preferences of some who have cultural objections to dogs. This group also tends to disapprove of pubs and advocates for restricting women’s rights.
Rep. Randy Fine, a longstanding critic of Islam in America, made it clear that if confronted with a choice between dogs and Muslims, he would have no hesitation in choosing dogs:
While a lot of attention is given to President Trump’s so-called “war on women,” it’s interesting to see how quickly Newsom aligns himself with an ideology that views women as second-class citizens. A telling example comes from an Afghan national in U.K. courts, who, after committing rape against British girls, claimed he “wasn’t used” to a culture where women can freely leave their homes, pursue education, and hold jobs. In contrast, his home country has effectively imprisoned women, stripping them of the right to go to school, work, or even step outside their homes without restrictions—they can’t become doctors or even consult male physicians. So, where is the outrage from those who shout that “healthcare is a human right” on this issue?
The Left has taken the stance that criticizing Islam, even when it is warranted, is deemed racist. They seem to believe that racism is a greater transgression than the violence, sexual assault, and mistreatment of women and girls occurring in Europe and the U.S. For years, they’ve advocated for initiatives like “hijab solidarity” and have pushed for Western children to be immersed in “Islamic culture,” which includes having girls wear hijabs and boys engage in Islamic prayers. Yet, they rarely allow Islamic girls to experience Western culture, which can have dire consequences under the principle of “honor” in some Islamic contexts.
For women thinking about voting for Newsom, it’s become clear that he prioritizes alignment with anti-women, anti-dog, and anti-freedom groups over your interests. He labels any criticism of their anti-Western beliefs as “racist.” In pursuit of the intersectionality politics that have long troubled the Left, he will leave you behind. So, as you look at your beloved dog and consider your rights to education, employment, and freedom, think carefully about which side you truly stand with.
