Walz, Omar Jump Right Out And Blame Border Patrol After Second Minneapolis Shooting

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Rep. Ilhan Omar wasted no time politicizing a fatal shooting by federal agents, instantly blaming President Trump and the so-called “federal occupation” rather than acknowledging the suspect was armed and resisted officers.

A bystander video shows multiple U.S. Border Patrol agents struggling to subdue a suspect in Minneapolis before gunfire erupts and the individual collapses. According to law enforcement, the suspect was armed with a Sig Sauer handgun and two magazines — a detail conveniently ignored by activists rushing to condemn the officers. Authorities say the suspect was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Instead of waiting for the facts, Walz and Omar rushed straight to social media, instinctively blaming immigration officers and exploiting the incident to push their political agenda – and inflame the situation, which is what they’ve been doing now for weeks.

“The President must end this operation,” Walz said. “Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.”

Omar went as far as to call the self-defense shooting an “execution” and a “murder.”

“This isn’t isolated or accidental,” Omar said in a statement. “The Trump administration is trying to beat us into submission rather than protect us. This administration cannot continue violating constitutional rights under the guise of immigration enforcement. ICE and CBP must leave Minnesota immediately.”

“Their presence is terrorizing our communities, violating rights, and taking lives with zero accountability,” her statement continued. “Minnesota was once a place of refuge, and Trump has turned it into a war zone where unchecked federal forces murder our neighbors.”

Emboldened by the reckless rhetoric of Walz and Omar, agitators swarmed the shooting scene, openly confronting law enforcement and turning a secured area into a volatile flashpoint. Predictable chaos followed, with officers forced to deploy crowd-control measures to stop the situation from exploding into outright violence:

The Department of Homeland Security issued a statement claiming that the suspect confronted officers while brandishing a handgun. When officers tried to disarm the individual, he violently resisted their efforts, leading to the officers shooting him in self-defense.

When we have more details on this, we’ll pass them along. In the meantime, some legal brainiac at the Justice Department needs to figure out a way to charge every Democrat bozo with incitement for continuing to whip up their supports against federal agents trying to conduct legitimate law enforcement operations.
