Speculation swirled — was he resigning? Being fired? Silenced?
Turns out, none of that. President Trump stepped off Air Force One and immediately shut down the noise.
“Dan Bongino. Very good guy. I’ve known him for a long time. He sounded terrific, actually. No, I think he’s in good shape,” Trump said confidently.
Bongino — the former Secret Service agent turned FBI Deputy Director — has been under fire for his role in the Epstein investigation. He, along with Kash Patel, concluded there was no foul play in Epstein’s death and claimed there is no “client list.”This came just as Pam Bondi accused Bongino of leaking damaging stories to right-wing media. Bongino denied it — and then didn’t show up the next day.
By personally vouching for Bongino, the President is sending a clear signal: he’s not going anywhere. At least not yet.
Meanwhile, Bondi made a high-profile appearance with Trump at the FIFA Club World Cup, and Elon Musk ripped into Trump’s Epstein-related comments, calling them one of the “worst posts ever made.”
Even Ghislaine Maxwell is now teasing a tell-all if the Supreme Court hears her appeal.
This administration drama is FAR from over.
