PoliticsWATCH: Tom Homan Smirks, Eats An Apple While Left-Wing Protestors Screech At HimPublished 1 day ago on March 12, 2025By Chris Powell
Tom Homan, the former acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and now Border Czar, received quite the welcome at the New York State Capitol—but not from the people inside the building.

Instead, a group of left-wing activists gathered to shout at him, only for Homan to completely dismiss them in the most effortless way possible—by smirking and casually munching on an apple.

Homan visited the New York State Capitol on Wednesday to endorse Republican legislators’ attempts to repeal state laws. The laws currently prevent federal immigration authorities from accessing motor vehicle records and establish sanctuary policies for undocumented immigrants.

Video footage from the scene shows Homan strolling through the Capitol while protesters chant, “No hate, no fear, immigrants are welcome here!”

Homan, unfazed, continud to eat his apple, clearly unbothered.

Homan’s visit sparked protests in Albany, where demonstrators gathered as he addressed the media. The Department of Justice has initiated a lawsuit against New York over its Green Light Law. A native of upstate New York, Homan, tasked by the president with managing deportation strategies, stood with members of the minority Republican party in the state legislature during the rally.

Social media users wasted no time weighing in on the viral clip, with many praising Homan’s composure while blasting the protesters’ theatrics.

One user simply stated, “Homan is the man,” while another remarked, “Lots of feral humans in that video.”

Others took issue with the presence of non-English signs at the protest, with one user noting, “Notice foreign language signs against American law. Yes, in an English-speaking city, foreign language signs showing disrespect for the citizenry and country.”

Through it all, Homan’s ability to remain completely unbothered in the face of left-wing hysteria only solidified his reputation as a no-nonsense enforcer of law and order.
