Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has declared that her agency “will not be deterred” by leaks after an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid was leaked ahead of time.
“We will not be deterred by leaks. If you come to this country and break our laws, we will hunt you down,” Noem said on X.
Noem spoke about an operation that helped catch members of the MS-13 and 18th Street gangs as well as sex criminals. On Sunday, Migrant Insider said that raids were going to happen in Northern Virginia on Monday and Tuesday and that the government had gotten between 75 and 100 warrants.
“Judicial warrants mean ICE can go into your homes, so plan accordingly,” the outlet’s editor, Pablo Manriquez, said on X. He later posted where they had been allegedly spotted in Northern Virginia.
Migrant Solidarity Mutual Aid also told its followers where ICE would be working and what they should do if they are approached by ICE.
Many people in ICE were upset about the leaks. One official told Fox that they thought it might lead to the death of an ICE agent.

Raids in Los Angeles and Aurora, Colorado, have been leaked to the news media in recent weeks.
When Fox News Digital asked Manriquez if he wanted to stop the raid or change anything else, he said that he was “just breaking news.”
For those who want to know why he thinks there have been so many leaks, Manriquez said, “If anyone has information, feel free to send it to me.”
He also didn’t agree with the idea that agents could get hurt if details about raids were made public.
“We break immigration news all the time. We follow this topic very closely and haven’t seen any reports of ICE being harmed,” he said.
Meanwhile, Trump border czar Tom Homan is furious after details involving a planned Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid in Aurora, Colo., were allegedly leaked.
Homan provided more information about the purported leak during an interview Thursday with Fox News host Harris Faulker and was clearly not happy about the incident while also vowing to act in response.
“We’ve already identified how this operation got leaked. I’ll deal with that today,” Homan said.
He added that ICE is working closely with the Department of Justice and that Homeland Security may start prosecuting those who get in the way of the agency’s operations. “This is not a game. This a dangerous job,” he said. “To have this top of interference puts the officers at great risk.”
The leaked operation comes as some Democrats also appear to be overtly interfering in ICE’s operations.
Democrat New York Rep. Dan Goldman is among those who are under scrutiny for how he advised people to avoid the agency’s raids.
“Every New Yorker has rights when they interact with immigration enforcement,” he said in a post on X. “No matter what the next four years bring, stay informed, stay safe, and stay together.”
“No matter what the next four years bring, stay informed, stay safe, and stay together,” he said in the caption of a video he shared.
“The Trump administration has carried out deportations, raids all across the country, including here in New York City,” he said in the video. “These are certainly uncertain times, but no matter what, it’s important that you know your rights when interacting with law enforcement.”
He went on to give instructions on “mak[ing] a plan for ICE encounters” along with information on pro bono legal representation if they are detained.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) is also under scrutiny for coaching illegal immigrants on how to avoid ICE, leading Homan to ask the Department of Justice for a legal opinion as to what activities amount to felonious interference with immigration officials.
Republicans are furious with Democrats who are advising illegal immigrants on how to deal with ICE.
“It’s completely disgraceful that Democrats are going to such extreme lengths to aid illegals — even going as far as using their official accounts to give instructions on evading ICE!” Republican North Carolina Rep. Mark Harris said to The Caller.
“This is just the beginning of their extreme tactics to obstruct President Trump’s agenda. Speaking in Chinese or Spanish won’t hide the Left’s message: they care more about criminal aliens than the safety of the American people,” he added.
