Jennifer Garner has gone above and beyond with a gesture of kindness that will melt even the hardest of hearts, just when it seemed there was nothing more the adored actress could do to win over fans worldwide.
The Elektra star has a resume that separates her from most of her esteemed peers, whether it’s rescuing her family’s farm to preserve her ancestral history, trying her hardest to normalize postpartum baby bumps, or just proving that wrinkles and folds don’t mean anything as you get older.
Garner made waves only last week when she gave her 85-year-old father a ride in his boyhood automobile. Her name is now making the rounds once more, but this time it’s for an act reflecting her soul’s compassion and selflessness.
According to accounts, Garner saw a homeless man who was obviously in need of assistance earlier this week while she was in a Santa Monica Beach parking lot.
The actress allegedly rolled down her car window to strike up a conversation with the unfortunate stranger. Her actions were not limited to giving the man in a wheelchair a bag filled with necessities; she also saw that he was barefoot.
When Garner saw this, she exited her vehicle, kneeled next to the man, and started putting socks on his feet.
What a wonderful moment!

The 13 Going on 30 actress wasn’t satisfied to stop there; she tried giving the man the shoes as well as removing them from her own feet.
When it became clear that the shoes were too small, Garner didn’t give up and asked a paparazzo who was following her in the area if he could help.
“What size feet do you have?” she asked, as per Page Six. “Can I buy your shoes for him? He needs a shoe.”
The photographer asked what size the man needed, with Garner informing him that the homeless man was “10 and a half.”
“Oh, I’m 11! Want me to give it to him? I can give it to him,” the paparazzo responded. To his credit, the photographer readily surrendered his shoes and declined to accept cash from Garner.
Of course, her generosity won’t come as a surprise to anyone who has closely followed Garner’s life and career. The actress has a long history of supporting those in need; more than ten years ago, she joined Save the Children.
“While I did not grow up poor, I was surrounded by it, and I always said I was a generation and a holler removed from rural poverty,” she once told Southern Living.
“And I went looking and ended up with Save the Children. Because they are definitely the leaders in helping kids in rural America.”
